The road accident term was developed in many terminologies. Shortly, we can say car accident or vehicle accident. The World Health Organization uses term road traffic injury, but not every country uses the same term. US formally uses motor vehicle accidents to represent the accidents between vehicles, vehicles and human, animal, or nature causes like rocks, fallen tree on the road, etc. However, this accidents cause death and injure million people annually all the world.

Prevention approaching has been introduced by many governments and civil institutions of this unexpected accident. The popular term is using standardized traffic safety equipments. For road construction workers, the safe traffic control devices must be used as required in the procedure. The traffic cones are common used device to direct vehicles to the certain lane the workers want. There are some types and sizes of cones according to the type of road they will be used. Besides, traffic barricade is sometimes installed around the dangerous zone which is potent to cause accident.

While the devices mentioned above are used without “operator”, the workers (or road traffic controllers) usually use warning flags to manually control the traffic avoiding traffic jam and/or road accident. It is cheaper, simple, and controlled preventing action. However, we say the traffic controllers as lollipop-man.
